Massimiliano is one of our supporters who has decided to embark on a sporting venture to support the Casa Famiglia di Isla ng Bata in the Philippines: a long bike ride to spread the campaign launched by our president to raise awareness on the issue of long-distance support.
Sometimes it happens that our supporters themselves become spokespersons for our cause, special testimonials who undertake charitable enterprises in complete autonomy to support our reality and the girls we welcome.
Like Massimiliano, a volunteer who learned about our project during his bike tour of the Philippines last year, contacted us and came to visit us at the facility. There he was able to meet the girls welcomed in Family Home and became a spokesperson for our project even upon his return. On the occasion of the Pedalata Solidale di Francesco – President of Isla ng Bata – he traveled with him the stage from Mira (Venice) to Torri di Quartesolo and on that occasion he decided to undertake a new journey, this time shorter but in the name of solidarity.
We are happy to have people like him alongside us, who believe in our commitment and support us with passion and generosity!
