A few weeks have already passed since the Rome Marathon 2025. As you know, Isla ng Bata took part in the initiative with a large group of supporters, athletes and amateurs. They were two intense and emotionally charged days. We will tell you how it went. Thanks to all of you who participated: train because we are waiting for you next year!Last March, our sporting enterprise, a tradition for a few years now, of the Maratona di Roma ended. Isla took part in the Charity Program, the one dedicated to non-profit organizations that, by participating in the initiative, have the opportunity to donate part of the registration fees to the association’s project (in our case the Casa Famiglia in the Philippines). The participation was really high. We had almost a hundred people registered for the Stracittadina Fun Run for Isla, which was held on Saturday 15 March, 10 relay teams and 6 marathon runners who ran the 42km race for us on Sunday 16 March.
It was a moment of aggregation, meeting and exchange with volunteers of the Association united by the common denominator of solidarity. Part of the registration fees for the two sporting events were, in fact, donated to our little ones welcomed in the Family Home and some of the participants in the Marathon and the relay carried out personal fundraisers that brought in more than €1,000 in donations and that allowed us to stock up on diapers and powdered milk for our newborns.
We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts Alessio, Carla, Raffaele, Luca, Jairo, all the participants in the relay teams and those who walked with us at the 6km Stracittadina and the many people who stayed with us all weekend at the Volontari Fun Village 2025.
