The new solidarity challenge of Francesco – President of Isla ng Bata – will officially start on August 23rd and will cross the whole of Italy from North to South. They will be two intense months of meetings, awareness raising and stories on one of the most important themes for our project: long-distance adoption!The training has already started several months ago and in June Francesco and Edward, right-hand man and supervisor in Family home, they cycled throughout Negros Oriental telling about Isla and our commitment to protecting the rights of girls and boys. A tour that touched various stages, a prelude to the solidarity venture in Italy. They were hot days in the Philippines but their undertaking was completed and all the neighboring districts were reached, so that no child is left alone again!
The Italian stages will see us involved in small and large events that will involve donors, activists, long-distance parents and volunteers from each region who will become our main testimonials in the story of what we have managed to do in these 20 years since the birth of Isla – thanks to all of them – for the girls and boys we welcome.
